Rovers FC Signs Jabari Garibaldi for U.S. Virgin Islands Association Club Championship
US born-Jamaican defender Jabari Garibaldi has signed a one-year contract with U.S. Virgin Islands Association Club Championship side Rovers Football Club.
Jabari arrived on Monday night at the city’s airport, where he was greeted by cheering fans of Rovers FC.
The Miami born player was a free agent after declining to extend his contract with Congleton Town, where he spent one season.
Jabari joins the club with a wealth of experience from European, British, Jamaica football clubs, bringing technical flair and creative playmaking to bolster the team’s defence.
Garibaldi, who spent the last summers with Congleton Town, will join Rovers FC in their push to qualify for the CONCACAF Caribbean Championship.
Garibaldi’s previous clubs include: Orlando City, Harbour View FC, Miami Dade FC, Aalborg BK , Buxton, Garswood United and Congleton Town.
